About Us
McGinley Academy dancers are top prize winners at competitions
and are recognized at events throughout North America.They enjoy great
successes as soloists and team dancers having regional, and international
Irish dance champion titles to their credit. Every year dancers from the
McGinley Academy qualify for and attend the World Championships in
Ireland, the most prestigious competition in Irish Dancing. Our dancers
also travel overseas and compete in the All-Irelands, Great Britain’s,
European Championships, and All-Scotland’s each year.
The McGinley Academy is one of the few schools within their region
that has their own talented instructors choreograph all steps that their
dancers perform. The steps and routines are recognized as innovative and
original and are created solely by the instructors for the dancers of the
McGinley Academy.
Our dancers range in age from pre-school through College, and our Tampa
location also offers classes to adults. Competitive dancing is the focus
for most of our dancers, however, some enjoy dancing as recreation and
exercise.
When not competing, our dancers can be found performing at various
cultural festivals, corporate events, weddings and fundraisers.
McGinley Academy dancers are renowned for captivating audiences
with their fast paced steps and intricate footwork. Their traditional and
contemporary dance routines are truly exciting to watch.
