McGinley Academy of Irish Dance
Welcome to the McGinley Academy of Irish Dance! The Academy offers
traditional step dancing classes for children and adults. We are also the
proud hosts of the Etobicoke Feis together with the Traditional Irish
Folk Art Society.
Our Academy can be found in two very different areas in the continent
of North America: to the north in the beautiful province of Ontario,
Canada; and to the south in the Sunshine state of Florida, USA.
It is our love of Irish dance, our strong friendships, and our sense of
community that forges the distance between us and keeps us united as one
Academy!
Our philosophy at the McGinley Academy of Irish Dance is to impart
a
love of Irish dance and an appreciation for Irish culture. Our goal is
to recognize each dancers unique talent and abilities, and cater to
the needs of each individual. Through weekly instruction, basic skills are
reinforced and technique is mastered. Dedicated instructors encourage
performers to uncover their individual style, and challenge them to perform
to the best of their ability.
